Is Soft water bad for my water pipes?

Research indicated that water with low hardness achieved by salt using softeners can have a corrosive effect on copper pipes. The Soft Shield technology does not have this risk.

Research has shown that water with 0 ° Dh is not bad for the pipes. However, not all water is the same. Water with a low acid buffering capacity (temporary hardness) can have a corrosive effect on pipes. Couplings may leak in old copper checks.

Thanks to the Soft Shields unique crystallization technology, the PH of the incoming water is not altered. Therefore it does not effect the lifetime of your water pipes.
